The staff, volunteers, supporters and friends of The Preemie Parents Foundation are a band of committed, caring men, women and children, who are joined by the understanding that eradication of prematurity is the ultimate goal but while premature births exist, we will support parents and caregivers unequivocally. We are all about their survival and growth, independent of what their baby is experiencing.

Tami C. Gaines

With an accomplished background as a marketing and business strategist, Tami has proven how individuals and business owners can achieve success from the inside out. She has been widely recognized as an expert and visionary among national media like The Wall Street Journal and has built an impressive client list that has included The Marriott, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Consumer Reports, Unilever and The Commonwealth of Virginia. With an M.B.A. from Columbia University and 25 years as an entrepreneur and executive, Tami could not have foreseen the events that would take her from the board room to the hospital room. - read more

About the Executive Director
Tracy Nelson

Tracy Griffinger Nelson is an experienced executive and marketing professional, with a focus on strategic planning and project management. With 30+ years of management experience, she now devotes her time to working with nonprofit organizations to create meaningful change in the world. In addition to being the Executive Director at the Preemie Parents Foundation (PPF), Tracy is Finance Director for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, benefits and insurance. - read more
